The Texas Wether Buck & Doe Sale, held in Fredericksburg, was created to offer top quality breeding stock for producing wethers. This is an open sale and show and everyone is invited to attend. The top animals from each class, sell in the order they place in the morning juried show. The sale coincides with the Gillespie County Fair and Pari-Mutal Horse Racing every August. Money generated from this sale is used to purchase youth goat projects at the stock shows and for the next years expenses.
